Pressure Ulcers – What can be done to avoid them.
When someone has restricted mobility, it can cause a number of side effects, not least the development of pressure ulcers, however, this doesn’t need to be the case.
In this recent publication, the findings of a detailed report have been published, together with recommendations on how to avoid them.
Little has been written about how to avoid pressure ulcers and this report goes some of the way to helping prevent this happening. It is always good to talk to someone as everyone is different, our team will work to help prevent this type of effect by working with both customers and their carers.
Having worked with many different people with a wide range of mobility challenges, we do not simply sell a wheelchair or bed, we look at the key challenges for the customer and not only find the most suitable equipment for them, but also help them stay mobile and avoid the unfortunate side effects.
