Wenman Healthcare appoints new Rehabilitation Engineer
Wenman Healthcare is excited to announce it has enhanced its customer service offering through the appointment of experienced Rehabilitation Engineer, Sarfraz Gulab.
Having completed a four-year degree in Rehabilitation Engineering at Coventry University, followed by a number of prestigious work placements, Sarfraz excels in the prescription and building of bespoke mobility and daily living aids.
In Sarfraz joining Wenman Healthcare, customers can now benefit from a complete assessment of their requirements, followed by recommendation and the building of bespoke equipment that will significantly aid their day to day living.
Sarfraz explains: "Historically many customers who require mobility or living aids will either source products from the internet or will rely on their Occupational Therapist for assistance. As a Rehabilitation Engineer it is my job to ensure each and every customer receives and uses mobility and living aid equipment that is exactly right for them and what condition they may have."
"It is commonplace that many individuals do not realise that having the wrong equipment can have a real adverse effect, and in the long run could worsen their mobility."
In light of Sarfraz's appointment, Wenman Healthcare will also be extending its services and repairs offering – where customers will be able to call on Sarfraz if their condition changes, or within a certain timeframe to ensure it is still the correct piece of equipment for use.
Director of Wenman Healthcare, Ian Wenman, finished: "Having a Rehabilitation Engineer at disposal will really help customers with a specific condition or those that require mobility or aid equipment as quickly as possible, for example if they have just left hospital following a hip replacement.
"With that said, I am delighted to welcome Sarfraz to Wenman Healthcare, and know he will be a real asset to both our customer service offering and business development strategy – for example he will play an integral part in supporting our continuous drive to develop our team of professional and knowledgeable helpers."
