Wenman Healthcare celebrates appointment with BHTA
Wenman Healthcare is delighted to announce the election of Managing Director, Ian Wenman, as the new Vice Chair of the mobility division for the British Healthcare Trades Association [BHTA].
Founded in 1917, the BHTA is the UK's oldest and largest healthcare association, boasting a vast membership of over 17,000 individuals, who are involved in the making or selling of healthcare and assistive technology products to help people live more independently.
Ian was appointed as the new Vice Chair of the mobility division following a BHTA vote last Friday 22nd July – having won the contested election to the post. In entering his new role, Ian has strong aims to help improve the links between the BHTA and NHS so that less able members of the local community are provided with better assistance to aid their condition.
Ian confirmed: "It's a great honour to be appointed to this role at this interesting and exciting time where joined up assistance for the less able can only be good for the well-being of the patient and to reduce pressure on the NHS."
Founded in the 1980's, Wenman Healthcare is renowned in the Warwick community for the supply, build, hire and repair of all types of assisted living technology and mobility equipment for the less able and those recovering from illness and operations.
The firm has recently been acknowledged for its outstanding level of customer care in the Pride of Warwick District awards, supported by many endorsements from a number of Warwick based businesses and establishments.
