You're in safe hands with HATS
Here at Wenman Healthcare we are proud to state that many of our team members have signed up to HATS: the Healthcare and Assistive Technology Society.
Founded in April 2015 by the British Healthcare Trades Association, HATS represents a supportive network dedicated to professionals working within the healthcare industry. Until it was introduced, the assistive technology sector had no official Continued Professional Development (CPD) accreditation.
So, what does this mean for Wenman Healthcare customers?
Prior to the introduction of HATS, sales teams, technicians and product advisors, for example, had to rely on either internal support or manufacturer/supplier led training in order to better customer care.
Though these methods of training remain highly valued and appreciated, they do not represent an independent accredited standard. Through HATS team members will be able to significantly enhance their knowledge and skill by engaging with a network of like-minded professionals. Aside from career development, this means that all customers will be receiving the best possible advice from professionals who have been officially approved to sell healthcare equipment.
Wenman Healthcare's Managing Director, Ian Wenman, comments, "I believe that HATS accreditations represent an important benchmark across the healthcare industry - helping customers to differentiate between businesses that are selling operations and those who truly have the best interests of all customers at heart.
"I am delighted that members of the Wenman Healthcare team have now joined HATS. As a family run business we have always prided ourselves on our customer care and aim to provide the best possible advice to all our customers. Team members securing a CPD accreditation will only enhance this service, whilst demonstrating their dedication to furthering their career."
