Mobility and Daily Living Aids for Cancer
Cancer and its treatment can cause fatigue, weakness, pain and changes in mobility, sometimes for a short time and sometimes for longer. The right equipment helps you save energy, stay comfortable and safe at home, and makes day-to-day support easier for family and carers.
For cancer information and support, speak to your healthcare professionals and visit the NHS website. Our qualified trusted assessors are also here to support you and your care team every step of the way, so please call us on 01926 624432.
Many of the products below are available to buy or through our Warwickshire-wide mobility equipment hire service. Hire can help to facilitate hospital discharge, enable you to try equipment before committing to a purchase, or provide support as needs change. We also offer a free home assessment with one of our qualified Warwick-based team to help you choose what’s right for you.

Mobility Aids
Fatigue during and after treatment can make walking further than usual hard work. A rollator with a seat gives support and somewhere to rest, while a lightweight wheelchair or portable scooter helps you get out and about without using up all your energy. Short-term hire is often ideal during treatment.
Shop our Walking Aids, Wheelchairs and Scooters ranges, including the Space LX, Ergo Lite 2 Transit and GoGo Carbon Ultra Lite. Many of these are also available to hire rather than buy.
Beds and Pressure Care
If you are spending more time resting, a profiling bed helps you sit up and change position comfortably, and pressure-relief mattresses and cushions help protect the skin. An overbed table keeps drinks, books and essentials within easy reach.
Shop our Beds, Mattresses and Pressure Cushions ranges, including the Deluxe home care bed, Softform Active 2 Mattress, Proform Cushion and EZ Swivel Overbed Table.
Seating and Riser Recliner Chairs
A riser recliner chair lets you rest comfortably during the day and helps you stand up without effort, while a perching stool saves energy during tasks like cooking.
Shop our Seating range, including Riser Recliners such as the Jubilee and Rhyme, and the 4 in 1 Perching Stool.
Bathroom and Hygiene Aids
Shower stools, bath boards, raised toilet seats and toilet surrounds make bathing and toileting safer when you feel weak or tired, and urinals can help at night.
Shop our Bathing and Daily Living Aids ranges, including the Shower Stool, Bathboard with Handle, Raised Toilet Seat, Toilet Surround, Male Urinal and Female Urinal.
Home Modifications and Safety Products
Grab rails and bed rails provide something steady to hold, and a stairlift removes the effort of the stairs on low-energy days.
Shop our Home Adaptations range, including Grab Rails, the Let’s Get Up Bed Rail and the Straight Stairlift.
Repairs, Modifications & Servicing
Needs can change during and after treatment, and existing equipment doesn’t always need replacing. Wheelchairs can often be adapted with extra accessories, and our team can adjust and service equipment to keep it safe, comfortable and reliable.
Shop Wheelchair Accessories and Wheelchair Adaptations, or see our repair, modification & servicing team for adjustments, adaptations and servicing.
Using a combination of these products can help you conserve energy, stay comfortable and remain independent during and after cancer treatment. Find out more about Wenman Healthcare, or browse our full range of products in the shop.
