Motion Rhythm

The Rollz Motion Rhythm is a rollator with three cues, for people with Parkinson’s or a disrupted walking pattern. The laser line stimulates the user to start a movement, while the metronome and the vibration in the handles support the walking rhythm. To prevent habituation, these cues are individually adjustable via the module on the Rollz Motion Rhythm rollator or via the Rollz app.

Freezing of gait is a sudden and temporary inability to move forward – a common symptom of Parkinson’s disease. The Rollz Motion Rhythm is a Parkinson walker equipped with unique features to support movement during these moments. Its laser projection creates a visual line on the ground that prompts the user to step over it, helping to break the freeze. In addition, optional vibration in the handles and a metronome-like sound cue provide further stimulus to resume walking.
